What we collect
When you browse. Like most websites, our server records basic details about each visit: the page you viewed, your IP address, your browser type and the site that sent you here. We also use Google Analytics, which uses cookies to tell us things like which pages people visit and roughly where they are visiting from.
When you contact us or ask for help. If you use our contact form or tell us about a project, we collect what you enter, such as your name, email address, phone number, city, the service you need and the details you share.
When you join our email list. We collect your email address.
When a business gets listed. We collect the business name, phone number, email address, website, location and the services it offers. Everything except the email address is shown publicly in the directory.
How we use it
We use this information to run and improve the site, answer your questions, help you find the right kind of local business, publish and update business listings, send the emails you signed up for, and keep spam and abuse off the site.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only with the companies that help us run the site, such as our web host, Cloudflare (security and site delivery), Google Analytics and our email provider. If you ask us for help with a project, we may pass the details you gave us to a local business that can do the work, so they can get in touch with you.
Cookies
We use cookies for Google Analytics and to keep our forms secure. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information you have sent us, or to take you off our email list. Just email [email protected]. Businesses can ask us to update or remove a listing the same way.
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above. This site is meant for adults and is not directed to children under 13.
